This beautiful diamond drop necklace came out circa 1930 after the 1929 stock market crash and in the midst of the Great Depression. Even during times as equally challenging as the present day, items of beauty can help lift our spirits.

A diamond drop necklace, consisting of an old cut diamond weighing 1.88 carats, accompanied by AnchorCert Report 1/17771-002, stating to be of K colour SI2 clarity, claw-set to an openwork collet, suspending a run of three smaller old-cut diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 0.6 carats, each individually to a millegrain-set collet, all linked with knife-edge bars, terminating to a drop, set with an old mine-cut diamond weighing 1.87 carats, accompanied by AnchorCert Report 1/17771-002, stating to be of K colour and I1 clarity, all mounted in platinum and suspended by a platinum chain, gross weight 7.7 grams, circa 1930.
